Children’s Ministry
At present we are able to offer instruction and care for nursery age children and infants during our 8:30 and 10:30 AM Sunday morning services.
We also have Sunday school for children up to the sixth grade during the 2nd / 10:30 AM service. We are hoping to be able to offer expanded children’s ministry for our first Service on Sunday morning and our Wednesday evening service in the near future.
We do believe in providing an environment for God’s children of all ages to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus. We believe in providing as the Holy Spirit would guide, a safe environment for all our children, for age appropriate instruction in the Word of God.
We seek to provide “discipleship” for all of our children, not just “child care” per se. The nursery ministry up through elementary students receive instruction at their level of learning. We hope very much to join with the parents as they raise up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, we seek to come along side – not to be the sole source of instruction in the ways of our Lord.
Our Children’s Discipleship and Nursery servants are screened through a process that involves:
- A waiting period and regular attendance of at least 6 months.*
- A comprehensive application.
- A thorough back ground investigation.
- Finger printing & positive identification.
- Criminal record check through DOJ and or FBI
- Personal references which are checked.
- Pastoral recommendation.
