Our world is confused when it comes to understanding what a man is and what a man should be. It’s more than biology. The heart of God is that men and women are created in His image – uniquely and distinctly – each individually displaying the image of God. For us as men, we have grown up in each generation looking for those iconic men to follow. Boys and young men have looked to sports heroes, actors and singers, entrepreneurs and their own fathers and brothers as the ideal. But even our best examples have fallen short. However, there is one Man who hasn’t fallen short. He is the Man, Christ Jesus. Fully human. Fully God.

At the 2019 Westwood Men’s retreat, we learn more about Christ and how as men we should replicate who He is.

It is the prayer of the Men’s Fellowship to strengthen, encourage and build up the men of the church, to be all God has called them to be as individuals, husbands, fathers, sons, employers or employees, through the study of God’s Word, fellowship and prayer.

Proverbs 27:17 says;
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
